We are vineyard specialists first
Let the Land Tell its Story
Our wines tell the story of Witness Tree Vineyard, our historic Willamette Valley estate. From this ideal position in Oregon’s highly regarded Eola-Amity Hills appellation, diverse soils rise from sea level to 750 feet in elevation on southeast-facing slopes. Crafted by Consulting Winemaker Alban Debeaulieu, our limited-production, organically farmed wines bear witness to the beauty of this stunning landscape.
An expression of the place
Est. 1982
The winemaking at Witness is dictated not by decisions in the cellar, but by expression of place. Our estate, Witness Tree Vineyard, is named for a historic Oregon White Oak that served as a survey marker in the 1850s. This farmland was first planted as a vineyard in 1982. Today, each block of Witness Tree vines are organically farmed and are coveted by various well respected winemakers who utilize the fruit for their own bottlings. Witness is our own interpretation of this storied Eola-Amity Hills site.
